The Home Minister will flag off an LNG train in Gujarat today: It can travel 2200 km on a full tank of fuel and can switch between running on LNG and diesel.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch railway projects worth over ₹1,542 crore in Gujarat on Sunday. During this event, he will also flag off India's first LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) train. A key feature of the train is that it can cover a distance of up to 2200 kilometers with a full tank. The train will be completely LNG-based. However, its engine can run on both LNG and diesel.
