Protest against UGC's new provisions, upper-caste community demonstration: warning for Delhi march, foot march from Mata Mandir to Raj Bhavan.

The upper caste community launched a protest in Bhopal on Saturday against the UGC's new provisions for the year 2026. The community organized a peaceful walk from Platinum Plaza at Mata Mandir to Raj Bhavan. After the demonstration, a memorandum addressed to the President was submitted to the Governor. The protesters demanded the withdrawal of the UGC's new provisions, implementation of reservation on an economic basis, and pre-action scrutiny in the SC/ST Act.
