In Shajapur, Gram Rozgar Sahayaks (Rural Employment Assistants) protested on Wednesday regarding various demands. Following this, they submitted a memorandum to the District Panchayat CEO and Deputy Collector Jagdish Verma, addressed to the Chief Minister and the Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development Department. The organization demanded that Gram Rozgar Sahayaks be appointed as Panchayat Assistant Secretaries and provided with all facilities equivalent to those of Panchayat Secretaries, as per the announcement made by the then Chief Minister on June 28, 2023.
