In Mandla, the Azad Adhyapak Shikshak Sangh held a one-day hunger strike and staged a sit-in protest on Collectorate Road on Sunday to press their demands. A large number of teachers participated in this movement, which was called at the behest of the state organization. In the evening, the union organized a rally and submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the Collector. The district president of the union, Santosh Soni, stated that they were demanding exemption from the (TET) requirement for serving teachers, among their main demands.
