Notorious robber Pappu Mallah arrested: Jewelry worth 1 million recovered, more than 50 cases registered; used to train boys.

Tilwara police have arrested Premnath alias Pappu Mallah, the leader of an inter-state gold smuggling gang, from Bhopal. Police recovered approximately ₹10 lakh worth of gold and silver jewelry from him and businessman Jai Prakash Soni, who had purchased stolen gold. More than 50 criminal cases are registered against Pappu Mallah. The Superintendent of Police had also announced a reward of ₹3,000 for his arrest. This incident occurred on March 22, 2026, in Anandkunj.
