Once started together, now 10 km apart: The Indore Metro will run 17 km from tomorrow, not 6 km. Bhopal is stuck at 7 km.

The Bhopal and Indore metro projects, which were launched simultaneously, are now separated by a distance of 10 kilometers. The operational route of the metro in Indore is set to expand from 6 kilometers to 17 kilometers, while in Bhopal, passenger services are currently available on a 7-kilometer route. From Sunday onwards, Indore will add an additional 11 kilometers to its new route. On Saturday evening at 4 pm, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal flagged off the new phase of the Indore metro in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
