The municipal corporation has fined a vehicle owner who spread dirt on the road in the name of metro construction by ₹10,000. On Friday, AHO Balveer Malik of Zone-9 arrived at the scene and imposed the fine. During this time, he also took a written apology from the vehicle owner. During the action, the corporation officials clearly stated that permission would not be granted to dirty the road under the guise of construction work. If they do so in the future, police action will be taken.
