In Bhopal, India's Bhopal region, worship and religious programs began in temples from Friday morning on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. A procession of Lord Krishna was taken out from Barkhedi to Shabban Chauraha, while more than 101 children dressed as Radha-Krishna participated at the Chief Minister's residence. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav broke a pot with Bal Gopal and fed butter and sugar candy to the children. The 'Shri Krishna Parv' was held at 111 locations in 55 districts of the state.
