A review of the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan revealed that despite its 104-day duration, more than 15,000 works remained incomplete.

Even two months after the completion of the 104-day Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan in Madhya Pradesh, more than 15,000 works are incomplete. This situation came to light during a review by the District Panchayat CEO. In the state, 3,58,119 works were targeted for improving groundwater levels and renovating old water structures. ₹10,407.59 crore was approved, but only ₹6,589.01 crore, or 63.3%, has been spent. Officials say that some projects are not being paid due to non-payment of dues.
