The Bhopal area of India will have a reduced travel time by one and a half hours with the creation of a four-lane road: The cabinet will approve the 105-kilometer Damoh-Katni four-lane highway. A four-lane road, approximately 105 kilometers long, is being prepared to be built between Damoh and Katni as part of the Vindhya Vikas Path project in the state at a cost of ₹1746 crore. The MPDRC will present this proposal for approval at the cabinet meeting scheduled for Tuesday. After approval, tenders and land acquisition will follow.
