A case of promotion and retirement in the Cooperative Department of Madhya Pradesh has come to light, raising questions about the system. The government promoted Assistant Registrar Suresh Sanwle from Badwani to Deputy Registrar. He took charge of the new post in Indore at around 11 am on August 31 and retired at 5 pm the same day. After the promotion, Sanwle's tenure in the new post was only about six hours.
