The most poignant scene unfolded when the girl's grandfather came down from the ward with her body in his arms. The family began protesting by placing the body on the road outside the hospital. The family alleges that Divya Vanshkar of Mahu Gadha village was bitten by an unknown insect on Tuesday morning. She was brought to the district hospital around 11 am, but treatment did not begin until several hours later.
