Central Jail Tender Scam... After 14 years of investigation, challan has been presented; 3 have died, charges will be fixed against 8.

In the case of the tender scam that took place in Bhopal Central Jail in 2011, the EOW has presented a challan in court. The EOW had registered an FIR against 11 individuals, including three jail officials, and initiated an investigation into the matter in 2012. This 14-year-long investigation also resulted in the deaths of three accused. Following this, charges will now be framed against eight accused, including the then Jail Superintendent Dr. Lalji Mishra, Deputy Jail Superintendent SK Swami, and Deputy Jail Superintendent RK Chaure.
