In Sagar, 15 people have died after consuming spurious liquor in the villages of the Banda region. Approximately 109 people are hospitalized. While investigating this entire case, police have registered an FIR against more than 26 named accused. Taking action, they have arrested 10 accused who are being interrogated regarding their connection to the liquor network. License holder contractors Siddharth Kushwaha and Yashwant Thakur have also been named as accused.
