The lack of railings on four culverts along State Highway 18 has increased the risk of accidents, and pedestrians are constantly living in fear.

Traveling on Bhopal-Vidisha State Highway-18 is not without its dangers for vehicle drivers. In the Salamatpur area, there are four incomplete culverts along the main road. At several places, there are insufficient railings for safety. Open stretches amidst fast-moving traffic are inviting accidents. There are no signs to alert drivers at night in these areas. There are no radium stickers or indicators installed.
