Patwaris, Revenue Inspectors, and Tehsildars have retreated: The government couldn't convince the Patwaris, and even after 19 days, there are still 0 registrations.

The government has been unable to end the Patwaris' opposition to the Swamitva scheme even after 19 days. Several rounds of meetings have taken place at the level of the Revenue Minister, Principal Secretary Revenue, and senior officials, but the Patwaris are not ready to register. As a result, free registration of approximately 50 lakh properties was supposed to begin in the state on September 17, but not a single one has been done so far. Now, the Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, and Revenue Inspector are all shying away from this process.
