Housing Project: After 19 years, 244 houses will be built for guards in 38 jails across Madhya Pradesh.

The state government has sanctioned ₹52.16 crore, including a plan for 5 district jails and 33 sub-jails... The Bhopal division will receive 52 houses, yet there is still a shortage... There are currently 4450 housing units needed, with the new addition expected to provide 1444 more. After 19 years, there's some welcome news for the Madhya Pradesh Prison Department's field staff and guards. To strengthen security arrangements in the state's jails and provide residential facilities to guards, the state government has allocated ₹52 crore 15 lakh 99 thousand for new housing projects.
