Two months after his victory in the Datia Assembly by-election, Congress MLA Ghanshyam Singh's election has been challenged in the Jabalpur High Court. The allegation is that he did not disclose information about a 1991 criminal case in the affidavit submitted at the time of nomination. Former Congress MLA from Datia, Rajendra Bharti, is also an accused in this same case and had mentioned it in his 2023 election affidavit. Based on this, BJP leader and advocate Deepak Bel
