In Madhya Pradesh, tourist visits increased from 13.33 crore in 2024 to 21.05 crore in 2025, representing a growth of 7.72 crore or 57.9% over the previous year. According to data from the MP Tourism Board, Ujjain-Indore accounts for more than half of all tourist visits. Ujjain recorded 8.40 crore and Indore recorded 2.81 crore visits, totaling 11.21 crore or 53.3% of the state's total tourist visits.
