Today, 250,000 lamps will be lit in Bhopal: The collective lighting of lamps will take place at 17 locations across the city and 11 locations in 11 villages; there will be a program in every ward.

On the occasion of the launch of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a 'Aashirvad Ka Diya' program will be held in Bhopal district on Thursday evening. In this event, approximately two and a half lakh lamps will be lit collectively at 17 urban and 11 rural locations. These burning lamps will spread service, dedication, social harmony, and public welfare from the city's historical monuments, major intersections, ghats, temples, and public places to the villages' sacred sites, ponds, and community premises.
