Traffic has started on the Vidisha-Sagar Fourlane Economic Corridor up to 20 km.

Under the Bhopal-Kanpur Economic Corridor, NHAI has prepared the district's first grade-separated trumpet interchange junction at Vidisha on NH-146. This interchange, built near Betwa bridge near Sonthiya-Menhgaon, will connect both four lanes of Vidisha-Sagar NH-146 and Vidisha-Ashoknagar NH-346. The most significant feature is that vehicles will not have to stop at traffic signals or face each other to move in all directions.
