Harshita Tomar, a sailing player from Madhya Pradesh, has won a bronze medal for India at the Asian Games 2026. Harshita, along with Sheetal Verma, won the bronze in the women's skiff event. After nine races, the Indian pair finished third with 24 net points. This is Harshita's second bronze medal at the Asian Games. Previously, she had also won a bronze at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games. At that time, at the age of 16, she won an open laser 4.7 sail.
