Balaghat - Hockey tournament begins, matches played amidst rain: Balaghat, Narsinghpur and Gondia won the matches, the final will be held on September 23.

A four-day hockey tournament commenced on Sunday at the Hockey Astro turf ground in Balaghat. This tournament is being organized in memory of Hiralal Nagose and Meshram Sharanagat. Three matches were played until 5 pm on the first day, with teams from Balaghat, Narsinghpur, and Gondia emerging victorious. The final match of the competition will be held on September 23rd. This tournament is being organized by Shaheed Chandrashekhar Astro to promote hockey talent in the district.
