Ram Naresh Kushwaha, a first-year MBBS student at Gajra Raja Medical College in Gwalior, failed the anatomy subject by one mark. He had scored 32 marks in the supplementary exam. The student filed a petition in the Madhya Pradesh High Court seeking re-evaluation of his answer sheet and granting him one mark as grace. The student stated that with 33 marks, he would be able to attend second professional classes and gain an academic advantage.
