Traffic plan released for Ganesh Visarjan and Chala Samaroh: Entry of vehicles is prohibited on several routes including Bara Bazaar and Tilak Chowk.

In light of the Ganesh idol immersion and procession on Anant Chaturdashi, Vidisha Traffic Police have released a plan for traffic management. The immersion and procession of Ganesh idols will take place on September 25, 2026. In view of this, vehicular movement will be restricted on certain routes in the city from 12 noon on September 25 to 8 am on September 26, while traffic will be diverted through some other routes. The police have issued a notice to people about the prohibited routes.
