Fraud in Damoh in the name of marriage, 'looter bride' arrested: After 3 days of the wedding, she fled with ₹1.70 lakh in cash and jewelry worth ₹2.40 lakh; 3 accused have been caught.

The Damoh Dehat police have arrested three accused, including 'Luterri Dulhan' Khushboo Rajput, for defrauding people of lakhs of rupees in the name of marriage. The police registered a case based on a complaint by Dinesh Vishwakarma from Bansa village and took action. According to the victim Dinesh, the bride had fled with the jewelry 3 days after the wedding. Middlemen allegedly took Rs 1.70 lakh in cash and jewellery worth Rs 2.40 lakh from Khushboo Rajput, a resident of Ranchi in Jabalpur, on April 20.
