In Bhopal, temporary, part-time, watchman, and contract workers earning between ₹3,000 to ₹8,000 reached the BJP state office on Monday morning, demanding a minimum wage of ₹15,000. The employees staged a sit-in protest in front of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's statue at the office and chanted slogans. As part of their 'Get Minimum Wage Fasting Movement', they were reminding the state BJP president of the announcement made by former Chief Minister Uma Bharti in 2003.
