In terms of cybercrimes, police stations are divided into 3 categories: deployment of 55 trained personnel, and they will not perform other tasks.
To combat the rapidly increasing cybercrimes, the police have devised a unique strategy. Based on the number of crimes, the police stations have been mapped and categorized into three categories. There are 12 police stations in the 'A' category, which are hotspots, with over 500 complaints and FIRs registered this year. This translates to an average of 40-42 per station. Among these stations, Kolar, Piplani, Bageshwar, Shahpura, and Misrod are among the top five. The 'B' category includes 23 police stations.
