Fear of CBI investigation: 3 government colleges did not even apply for recognition

Following a CBI investigation into the nursing education system in Madhya Pradesh, government colleges are now starting to shut down their nursing colleges. Three government nursing colleges in the state have not even applied for recognition for the 2026-27 academic session. These include institutions in Jabalpur, Bhopal, and Ujjain. Notably, these colleges were not in a good condition in the past either. The Government Autonomous Ayurveda College in Jabalpur was also in a similar situation in 2025-26.
