Bhopal - A lady doctor was shot three times by her ex-boyfriend: a bullet grazed her forehead; the accused also shot himself, due to suspicion of a relationship with another woman.

In Bhopal, a 27-year-old female doctor, Shweta Thakur, was shot by her ex-boyfriend, Naveen, late Tuesday night at the Patanjali Complex in Gandhi Nagar. Naveen arrived at the flat under the pretext of a conversation and fired three rounds after an argument. One bullet grazed Shweta's temple, injuring her. According to the police, Naveen suspected that Shweta was in a relationship with another young man. He repeatedly pressured her to stay with him.
