The dispute between the Patwaris and the government over the Swamitva scheme has escalated. The services of 27 Patwaris on probation in seven districts have been terminated. In protest, approximately 24,000 Patwaris have mobilized. The Patwaris have decided to go on mass leave from October 8th to 11th. The Patwaris are also leaving the government WhatsApp groups. The services of 4 Patwaris each in Ujjain, Shajapur, Ratlam, and Mandsaur, 5 in Agar Malwa, and 3 each in Dewas and Neemuch have been terminated.
