Azad Samaj Party protests over the deaths of tribal children: Leaders say they will demand compensation of ₹30 lakh each for the victims' families and an FIR against the officials.

The issue of deaths of tribal children in Balaghat district has once again heated up. On Friday, the Azad Samaj Party staged a strong protest at the district headquarters, raising several issues including the untimely deaths of tribal children and the regularization of guest teachers. The movement, which lasted from 2 pm to 5 pm, saw the participation of party's core committee member and national president of Dalit Pichhda Adivasi Sangathan, Damodar Yadav Mandal, who also addressed the state and central governments.
