In Chitrakoot, the Ghorgi Dam burst, and the Mandakini River swelled to 30 feet. A 300-meter long bridge over Ramghat was washed away. The Satna-Manikpur track was submerged, causing 24 passenger trains and 20 goods trains to be delayed.

In Madhya Pradesh, continuous rainfall has led to flood-like conditions in Satna, Chitrakoot, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, and Panna. Chitrakoot is facing severe flooding due to 18 hours of torrential rain. Several areas have been inundated after the Goragi Dam burst. The Satna-Chitrakoot road is closed at three locations. The Mandakini River has risen by approximately 30 feet. The large Ramghat bridge has been washed away in the strong currents. Boats are operating in several neighborhoods along the river.
