Bhopal's New Road: 48 new roads, 30 to 60 meters wide, will connect the outer areas to the city center.

The road network of Bhopal is proposed to be expanded by approximately 54% by the year 2047. The Bhopal Development Plan (Draft) 2047 has prepared a roadmap to expand the existing 515 km of main road network to 795.61 km, which will include 280.61 km of new and revised roads. The master plan aims to connect the outer areas with the city center through a network of new roads and reduce traffic congestion on major routes.
