Floods in Satna and other 4 districts of MP: Chitrakoot's large bridge washed away, many areas submerged; heavy rain alert in 10 districts today.

With the departure of August, flood conditions have resurfaced in Madhya Pradesh. Flooding occurred on Saturday in Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, and Tikamgarh. In Chitrakoot, the Goragi Dam burst, causing the Mandakini River to rise by 30 feet. Railway tracks and police stations were submerged in Satna. Meanwhile, several villages in Panna became islands. There is an alert for heavy rainfall in 10 districts on Sunday as well. According to IMD (Meteorological Center) Bhopal, a low-pressure area has formed in the state.
