This monsoon season in Madhya Pradesh has seen an average of 27.7 inches of rainfall, which is 74% of the expected total. In August alone, 12 inches of water fell. Now, September requires 9.6 inches of rain, after which the state's normal rainfall figure will surpass 37.3 inches. However, there are alerts for extremely heavy and heavy rainfall in several districts of the state over the next four days, indicating an expected increase in rainfall figures.
