Rai Sen has been experiencing continuous rain for the past four days. Rivers and streams are overflowing in Begumganj, with water flooding many roads. The Mala Phatak route from Begumganj to Vidisha via Haidergarh has been closed for 8 hours, leading to long queues of vehicles on both sides. Due to the road closure, approximately 40 villages in Rai Sen and Vidisha have lost their road connectivity. These include Chandoria, Mala, Silitra, Gopalpur, Sagoni Munjapta, Peelpahari, Madhiya Hasan Khan, and Manpur in Rai Sen.
