In Betul, a young man from Coimbatore died in a road accident: He had left Bhopal on a bike because he couldn't find a flight, and the accident occurred on NH-47.

In Betul, a bike rider, S. Gautam (29), died after being hit by an unidentified heavy vehicle on National Highway-47 on Tuesday night. He was a resident of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu and worked in Dubai. Due to a missed flight, he was traveling by bike from Coimbatore to Bhopal, covering a distance of approximately 1800 kilometers. The accident occurred near the Jhitapatti passenger waiting area in the Betul Bazaar police station area between 2:30 am and 3 am. In the collision, Gautam suffered a head injury.
