International wildlife smuggler Tashi Sherpa's appeal dismissed in Narmadapuram: The 5-year sentence and ₹10,000 fine remain intact for the tiger-pangolin smuggling case.

In a case related to the poaching of tigers and pangolins in the Satpura Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh, as well as the smuggling of their parts, the District and Sessions Court, Narmadapuram, has rejected the appeal of international wildlife smuggler Tashi alias Tashi Sherpa. On Wednesday, the court upheld the sentence of 5 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 imposed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Narmadapuram. Tashi Sherpa had been involved in Narmadapuram for nearly two years.
