In the past two months, the prices of five essential daily food items have increased by an average of about 27%. Onions and sugar are the most affected. The price of onions has risen from ₹35-40 to ₹55-60 per kilogram. Sugar has gone up from ₹45-48 to ₹60-65 per kilogram. Arhar dal, urad dal, and mustard oil have also become more expensive compared to June. City
