In Bhopal, ₹5.99 lakh was withdrawn from an account by breaking the FD: The OTP didn't even arrive; three transactions occurred through internet banking.

Cyber fraudsters withdrew approximately ₹6 lakh from the bank account of a 61-year-old resident of Aishbagh area in Bhopal. The unique aspect of this fraud is that the victim did not receive any OTP on their mobile phone during the money transfer process. The fraudsters transferred a total of ₹5,99,009.62 from his fixed deposit (FD) through internet banking in three installments. Based on the victim's complaint, cyber police have registered a case and started an investigation.
