The money trail of a fake passport syndicate involving Bangladeshi citizens has been discovered: 50 passports were made based on the testimony of three individuals, and the funds were deposited into the accounts of Buddhist monks.

In an investigation into the syndicate involved in obtaining fake Indian passports for Bangladeshi citizens in Madhya Pradesh, the Special Task Force (STF) has uncovered crucial clues related to financial transactions. The mastermind of the gang, Riyal Chaudhary alias Bhante Maithanand, used a bank account opened in the name of a Buddhist monk to transfer the fraudulent money. According to the STF, this was a 'mule account' with full access held by Riyal Chaudhary himself. Riyal had also received 20 thousand rupees as reward money.
