Sagar-Satna Greenfield Expressway: The distance from Bhopal to Satna via Sagar will be reduced from 513 to 409 km.

After Jabalpur-Damoh, Sagar-Damoh, and Katni-Damoh, another major road project is now in the process of taking shape, which will change the connectivity of Bundelkhand. The MP Road Development Corporation (MPRDC) is conducting a survey for a proposed 227 km long greenfield expressway between Sagar and Satna. The expressway is likely to pass through the districts of Pawa and Damoh in Panna. The Detailed Project Report (DPR) is currently being prepared. Notably, this project will reduce the existing 302 km distance between Sagar and Satna by approximately 700 km.
