The free bus travel facility provided by AICTSL for sisters visiting their in-laws' homes on Raksha Bandhan, where they tie the Rakhi on their brother's wrist, has brought relief. More than 56,000 women benefited from this two-day free travel offer. Of these, approximately 50,000 women traveled by intercity charter buses and over 6,000 women traveled in city and I-bus services without paying any fare. The intercity bus service, which was free for women for 48 hours, is a PR initiative of AICTSL.
