In 6 months, there have been 1405 accidents: If 40 roads are not widened, Bhopal will be jammed

The city currently has around 1.5 million registered vehicles, with an average of 8,000 new vehicles hitting the roads every month. This means that the pressure of vehicles on the city's roads is continuously increasing, and the existing road network is proving to be insufficient. At this rate, the number of vehicles in the city will surpass 2 million within a few years. Roads are becoming inadequate for this growth. In the first six months of this year alone, there have been 1,405 road accidents in Bhopal, including 145 fatalities.
