On Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganpati Bappa is present from homes to temples. In anticipation of the 10-day Ganesh Mahotsav, major Ganesh temples in Madhya Pradesh are preparing for special decorations, aartis, and offerings. The darshan arrangements have also been changed for devotees. Some places have barricading and separate entry and exit routes, while others require standing in line for darshan. The Khajrana Ganesh in Indore has diamond eyes, and the Lord is being offered approximately 70 million rupees worth of swar (a unit of currency).
