The Madhya Pradesh government is set to launch a new scholarship scheme for the meritorious children of construction workers. Under the Shri Medha Chhatra Unnayan Yojana, those selected will receive ₹7500 every month. A maximum of 500 students will be selected each year based on combined merit, with 100 seats reserved for girls. The benefit of this scheme will be available to the children of workers registered in the Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
