In Ujjain, a businessman was defrauded of ₹76,945: An APK was downloaded under the pretext of increasing the credit card limit, and money started being deducted from his account.
In Ujjain's Mahidpur, a grain merchant was defrauded by thugs who promised to increase his SBI credit card limit. As soon as he downloaded the APK file, ₹76,945 was withdrawn from his account in three installments. Mahidpur police have registered a case against the unknown accused and started an investigation. On October 2nd, Ravish Yadav (38), a resident of Yashwant Marg, Jail Road, Mahidpur, was at his shop when he received an APK file for his SBI credit card on WhatsApp from two mobile numbers.
