On Saturday night, during a freshers' party of a private university at the Hotel Hyatt Palace in Bhopal's Rani Kamlapati station, activists from Hindu organizations created a ruckus. The workers had received information that minor female students were also allowed entry to the party. Following this information, they arrived at the hotel and demanded that the IDs of the female students be checked. The party organizers and hotel staff attempted to reason with the workers.
