The situation in Satna and Chitrakoot is deteriorating due to continuous rainfall. Rivers and streams are overflowing, and many areas have become like flood-like conditions. From city roads to police stations and petrol pumps, everything is flooded. In Nagod, the police station and the Bagri petrol pump at Singhpur intersection have been inundated with water. The road from Kotwali Chowk to Collectorate has been blocked due to waist-deep water. In Chitrakoot, the Mandakini River's water has reached the roads.
